2011 Charity of the Month
Bonus Point Games For Local Charities
Bridge Clubs are given the opportunity to host one charity game per
sanctioned game a month. BAND takes this opportunity to give back to the
local community by hosting the maximum number of charity games allowed
in a month. These games are our Double Point Games. The players receive
70% sectionally rated black points and the charity receives $4 a table which
is split between a local charity and an ACBL charity. For those charities
with Wish Lists, there is a box at BAND for your donations during specific
months.
The BAND Team is always looking for new local charities. If you have a
charity that is close to your heart, then send a request to be added to our
charity list along with a web address and any other materials you would like
to display at BAND. The Charity must be a 501C3 Charity to qualify.

Several times a year, BAND Members join Bob Ingebritson for the day and cook for Dallas
Homeless.

- "Feeding the Homeless is an ongoing project. If anyone would like to contribute
regularly or occasionally, Bob Ingebritson will see that 100% of the money goes
to the homeless.
