4)         Double – If partner responds 1♠, jump to 2NT showing 21-22 points

 

Exercise 5: Hands with a Six-Card Suit

1)         2♣ - If the opponents get together in diamonds at a low level, you can reopen with a takeout double.

2)         2♣, then bid spades.

3)         Double, then bid clubs if partner bids hearts.

4)         Double, then jump in spades.

 

Exercise 6: Hands that have a 5-Card Major with any 5-3-3-2 Distribution and RHO Opens Your Doubleton
